On January 10th, members of the AYLUS Greater Tulsa branch gathered at a volunteer’s home for an annual meeting. The purpose of the gathering was to discuss leadership development, organizational responsibilities, and future goals for the branch.
During the meeting, members reviewed upcoming officer and leadership positions, outlining the responsibilities associated with each role and discussing expectations for current and future officers. The group also talked about ongoing and upcoming service projects, leadership preparation strategies, and the importance of motivation and commitment when serving communities in need. Emphasis was placed on personal growth, teamwork, and the impact of volunteering on both the community and the volunteers themselves.
In addition to discussion and planning, members shared boba tea and a variety of food, which helped create a welcoming and collaborative atmosphere. Overall, the meeting was productive and meaningful, strengthening communication within the branch and encouraging members to take an active role in future leadership and service opportunities.
