AYLUS Great Neck Branch Tutoring at Station Library 84th (2/3/26)

Today, Tuesday, February 3, 2026, Great Neck AYLUS held another tutoring session at the Great Neck Library Station Branch, where volunteers worked together to support students in a variety of subjects. Siwoo worked with a student on a project about U.S. presidents, helping organize information and review key facts. Junlin assisted a student with fractions and ELA vocabulary, checking math questions and reviewing word meanings. Jason helped a 4th-grade student with math, guiding them through practice problems. Xingzhi supported an 8th-grade student in Earth Science, explaining concepts clearly and helping the student review class material. Lucy worked with a 5th-grade student on math, practicing problems step by step. Summer helped a student with Algebra 1, reviewing algebraic concepts and solving equations together. Through teamwork and patience, students were able to improve their understanding and make progress on their assignments. Overall, the session was productive, and both students and volunteers benefited from the experience.
