From January 31 to February 1, 2026, the inaugural Chino Lunar New Year Festival was successfully held at Chino City Hall, marking a vibrant celebration of cultural diversity and community spirit. As the final stop of this year’s Lunar New Year celebration tour, the festival drew large crowds and featured a wide range of cultural performances and interactive activities. As a long-term community partner, AYLUS RC Branch continued its deep involvement throughout the two-day event. Our organization played an active and multifaceted role in supporting the festival’s success. Multiple student volunteers assisted with stage setup and breakdown, ensuring smooth operations in the main performance area. In addition, six trained student hosts from AYLUS RC Branch led the event hosting duties across both days, demonstrating professionalism, confidence, and strong communication skills on a large public stage. The AYLUS RC Band also contributed significantly to the festival by presenting eight carefully rehearsed musical performances. The band’s eight members showcased their musical talent through a diverse and engaging program, earning warm applause from the audience and adding artistic energy to the celebration. Beyond performances, AYLUS RC Branch operated a community booth where members organized a charity sale featuring donated items. The booth also served as an opportunity to introduce AYLUS and promote youth volunteerism to the broader community.Participation in this large-scale cultural event provided valuable growth opportunities for all involved. Our members demonstrated versatility and dedication while helping to share Chinese traditional culture and Lunar New Year customs with the local community. Through teamwork, service, and artistic expression, each member contributed within their capacity and gained confidence, experience, and pride in their achievements. As the Year of the Horse approaches, we look forward to continued growth and success for AYLUS RC Branch, and to making even greater contributions to our community in the year ahead.
