On January 30, 2026, the AYLUS Greater Buffalo branch, in partnership with Bridges from Borders and the Buffalo Chess Association, launched the BFB#OneWorldChessClub. This program is dedicated to creating a welcoming and supportive environment where individuals, especially immigrants and refugees, can connect, learn from one another, and build lasting relationships through the shared experience of playing chess.
