The AYLUS Lake Washington Branch successfully hosted six sessions of the AMC8 Prep Camp in January led by instructor Jiayi Joey Zhu, with assistance from Elissa Song, Xiao Mao, Kerui Xu.
day 6: On the 25th of January 2026, AYLUS’s Hand in Hand We Code project hosted its sixth AMC 8 Prep camp, with project lead Joey and TA Elissa. They did a walkthrough of some AMC 8 practice problems, focusing on topics like bases (converting to/from), factors/divisors, and reasoning. The class was 1.5 hours long, and gave the students good insight into number theory. Jiayi also spent additional time on Q&A and homework correction.
