AYLUS Rancho Cucamonga Branch – Volunteer Service at Rancho Cucamonga Lunar New Year Event (01/17/2026 – 01/18/2026)

On January 17 and 18, 2026, the 4th Rancho Cucamonga Lunar New Year Festival was joyfully held at the Rancho Cucamonga Sports Center, bringing together families and community members to celebrate the Lunar New Year. Eighteen volunteers from AYLUS RC Branch proudly participated in providing volunteer services throughout the two-day celebration.

This marked the fourth consecutive year that AYLUS RC Branch has supported the Lunar New Year Festival. As a well-recognized local high school volunteer organization, AYLUS RC Branch actively participates in major community events and works closely with local partners. Due to its outstanding performance and long-term commitment, AYLUS RC Branch has been named one of the designated partner organizations of the California Culture Festival.

On the morning of January 17, AYLUS RC volunteers arrived at the event site as early as 8:00 a.m. to assist event organizers with stage setup and logistical preparations, including arranging tables, chairs, tents, and trash bins. Volunteers also supported a fundraising booth, contributing to the enrichment of local community cultural activities.

The festival featured a wide range of Lunar New Year experiences, including stage performances, traditional cultural displays, food vendors, market booths, and family-friendly interactive activities, creating a vibrant and inclusive celebration for all ages. The opening ceremony on January 17 included a spectacular lion dance performance, as local government officials and community leaders joined together to officially welcome the Lunar New Year and extend warm holiday wishes to residents.

On January 18, AYLUS RC volunteers continued their service by assisting with event breakdown and site cleanup. Their dedication, teamwork, and positive attitude were widely recognized and praised by event organizers and community members alike.
