On Saturday January 17th, the AYLUS Great Neck Branch held their 42th AAPI event at the Great Neck Main Library. The event started off with volunteers reading books to the kids. Catherine read “Becoming Boba”, Rebecca read “Roar-Choo”, and Nathan read “Lolo”. After reading, crafting activities were given for the children who attended. Jolting, Rainie, Rebecca, and Amber taught kids how to do parrot, butterfly, and lion poke-in art, while Victoria taught others crochet. Andrew helped students in how to make dragon origami.
