On December 20th, members of the Syosset AYLUS joined the Long Island Native Plant Initiative (LINPI) to assist with their support for local environmental initiatives. Members also assisted with removing seeds from mature plants. Some members were involved in the process of removing seeds from a unique plant, a plant that can easily fly away because it is similar to a feather. Pam, the manager of the site showed us the machine that processes seeds and refines it.
