On January 3rd, 2026, our members volunteered at tech support in the Fellowship Village Senior Living Center (8000 Fellowship Rd, Basking Ridge, NJ 07920). Volunteers helped seniors with many different questions such as ones about how to know when face ID is required to fill in passwords, open up their phone, and two step varification. The senior also had issues with knowing how to recieve images from airdrop, as well as how to sort and sync gmail messages. The senior learned to take photos using the newly added photo button, and how to move hidden apps onto the home screen. Another senior had issues with how to send emails and borrow books.
Today, through the volunteers careful care and guidance, seniors became more comfortable with using technology, and started to gain interest compared to hopelessness when approaching new challenges.
