On Thanksgiving, members of the Ridgewood branch of AYLUS organized a Senior Technology Help Clinic at the Broadway Adult Day Care Center in Fair Lawn, NJ. The clinic was designed to assist seniors with common technology questions and challenges, such as using smartphones, sending emails, adjusting device settings, and navigating popular apps. In the weeks leading up to the event, members coordinated closely with the senior center staff to identify seniors’ needs and prepare helpful material. During the clinic, AYLUS members worked one-on-one with seniors, offering personalized guidance and hands-on assistance. The interactive format allowed seniors to ask questions freely and gain confidence in using their devices.
