On December 13th, the Aylus Raritan Valley Branch held a volunteer activity titled Making Holiday Cards for Seniors at the East Brunswick Public Library from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. Volunteers created handmade holiday cards for seniors in nursing homes to share warm wishes and holiday cheer.
Participants brought their own art supplies and worked together to design and write thoughtful messages. All completed cards were collected at the end of the event and prepared for delivery to local senior care facilities. Volunteer hours were recorded based on actual participation time.
This activity helped bring joy to seniors during the holiday season and encouraged volunteers to give back to the community through creativity and kindness.
