On November 8th, AYLUS Houston volunteers spent two hours serving at The Ballard House, supporting the facility’s efforts to create a welcoming and peaceful environment for patients and their families. During the visit, members worked outdoors to help manage and maintain the garden, assisting with tasks such as clearing debris, organizing plants, and improving the overall appearance of the space.
By caring for the garden, volunteers helped enhance a calming outdoor area that residents can enjoy during their stay. This hands-on service allowed AYLUS Houston to contribute to the comfort and well-being of those facing medical challenges. We are grateful to The Ballard House for the opportunity to serve and proud of our volunteers for their dedication and hard work. AYLUS Houston looks forward to continuing to support organizations that provide care and comfort to the community.
