On December 18th, 2025, Great Neck AYLUS hosted another tutoring session at the Great Neck Library Station Branch from 6:00-7:00 PM. There were 5 tutors and 5 students so everyone got adequate teaching. Erika assisted a young student with basic addition and subtraction problems. Brian helped out with social studies and french, helping the student with a fun shirt designing project for social studies, and listening/writing french numbers. Rebecca assisted another student with English language, matching vocabulary with sentences and completing the blank worksheets. Elaine worked with a 7th grader and helped him finish his social studies and math homework. Lastly Junlin helped with special mathematical problems that require a lot of critical thinking but also creativity. Overall it was another great tutoring session for students as they delve deeper into the topics they struggle on with the help of student tutors.
