On December 6, 2025, the AYLUS Howard County branch had the opportunity to perform for the seniors at Meadow Park Rehabilitation & Healthcare. Our group prepared Christmas songs to bring warmth and joy to the residents, and it was heartwarming to see smiles spread across their faces as the music filled the room. Many of the seniors even sang along with us, creating a beautiful sense of connection and shared celebration.
To close the event, all of the performers joined together for a final piece—an uplifting group performance of “We Wish You a Merry Christmas.” The residents clapped, sang, and expressed how much they enjoyed the music. Their enthusiasm and appreciation made the experience truly meaningful for all of us.
The Music in Town program proved once again that music is a universal language one that can inspire, comfort, and bring people together, no matter their age. We can’t wait for the next performance!
