

On Tuesday December 2nd, Aylus high school volunteers gathered from 6:00 to 7:00PM at Great Neck Station Library to tutor and assist younger students with their studies. During this session, Ivy Li helped an eighth grader with english essay writing and research, as well as social studies topics about the Spanish American War. Meanwhile, Summer Lu helped a student with various biology topics, and learn more about cells in the human body. Junlin helped a student learn how to calculate percentages in math in relation to ratios. He also helped the student multiply complex expressions using distributive property and PEMDAS. In conclusion, the tutoring session was efficient and benefitted many students with their studies.
