AYLUS Frisco & Plano Branch concert at the Stonemere Center in Frisco November 28, 2025

Report by Andrew Lampert and posted by Charlotte Chen

On November 28, our volunteer group put together a concert at the Stonemere Center in Frisco. Before the event, all of us spent our after-school time practicing and rehearsing so we could make sure everything sounded the best.

The concert ended up going really well, and we were honestly surprised by how much the audience enjoyed it. The residents were super engaged and said they were impressed and some even surprised with how well everyone played. We had all kinds of music performances—piano, strings, singing, Guzheng, and woodwinds. They seemed to really enjoy the whole show, and we were grateful we got to share our music with them. It was really nice seeing them smile and hearing their kind comments.

Overall, it was a great experience for us and for the senior residents, and we’re thankful that we got to use our music talents to make their day joyful!
