On 11/21/2025, AYLUS Syosset Branch volunteers participated in the Island Harvest 17th Annual Turkey Drive, supporting the organization’s mission to fight hunger across Long Island. Our chapter collected and donated 13 turkeys along with a large amount of canned and non-perishable food items. Members assisted in delivering the donations to the collection site and helped with organizing the items on-site.
The contributions from AYLUS Syosset Branch will help provide Thanksgiving meals to families experiencing food insecurity within the community. By donating both turkeys and shelf-stable goods, AYLUS helped ensure that more households can celebrate the holiday with a complete and nutritious meal.
This event strengthened our commitment to giving back and supporting local families in need. Participating in Island Harvest’s Turkey Drive allowed AYLUS Syosset volunteers to directly contribute to a meaningful cause during the holiday season.
