During Thanksgiving break, two RCA members volunteered at the Discovery shop. This shop sells gently used merchandise and uses the proceeds to support the American Cancer Society.
The members helped dust the shelves, sweep the floors, and organize merchandise
displays to keep the store clean and welcoming. They also assisted with
preparations for the big post-Thanksgiving sale, where the entire store would be 25%
off. This included putting out seasonal inventory, arranging special items, and
making sure everything was easy for customers to find.
In addition, the volunteers helped wrap customers’ purchase and answered
questions with patience and friendliness.
Their hard work and cheerful attitude brought great support to the store during the busy holiday season.
