Several RCA members gathered again to continue making this month’s senior cards, hoping each one would bring a smile to the faces of the elderly. With the holidays approaching, they wanted to remind seniors that they are cared for and never alone. After finishing the cards, the group moved on to cleaning the local neighborhood park, picking up trash and litter along the pathways, in the bushes, and across the open field. Unfortunately, the rising heat made the event unbearable, so the cleanup ended early, but RCA remains dedicated to serving the community through ongoing volunteer efforts.
