Riverside County AYLUS Members Bring Joy to a Local Senior Home on November 11th, 2025

Three AYLUS members volunteered at the senior home’s painting class, where they
assisted residents with creating festive turkey drawings. The volunteers also
demonstrated basic watercolor techniques, helping the elderly participants learn how
to control water flow, blend colors, and add simple details. Their patience and guidance
made the activity enjoyable and engaging, bringing creativity and warmth to the
seniors’ day.

Then the AYLUS members helped the seniors play six different rounds of BINGO.
They took turns reading out the numbers on the bingo balls, assisting seniors in
checking their cards and distributing prizes to the winners. The seniors were very
happy and excited, and they truly enjoyed having the young volunteers bring energy
and joy to their day. The activity created a warm and lively atmosphere, strengthening
the connection between generations.
