Event 93: Spreading Holiday Joy: AYLUS Morris Branch and Help4All Deliver 550 Candy Bags to Plainfield Students in November 2025

The AYLUS Morris Branch recently partnered with Help4All to launch a meaningful holiday service project focused on bringing joy to young students in Plainfield. Over several weeks, branch members organized a candy collection drive and received generous support from families, neighbors, and the wider community. Through consistent outreach and enthusiasm, they collected approximately 134 pounds of candies. The success of the drive reflected both the strong community spirit in Morris County and the dedication of AYLUS members who spread the word through schools, social media, and personal networks to encourage donations, members also setup the collection site in local gyms.

On November 30 at 2:00 PM, AYLUS members gathered for a large wrapping event that transformed the collected candy into 550 festive holiday treat bags. Working together in an organized assembly-line setup, volunteers sorted, counted, and wrapped each bag with care. The room filled with teamwork, laughter, and a shared sense of purpose as members collaborated to make sure every bag included a cheerful and thoughtful assortment of treats. Their efficiency and cooperation showcased the leadership and commitment that define the Morris Branch, as students took pride in preparing something special for children they had never met but deeply wished to support.

Once all 550 candy bags were completed, they were delivered to Help4All distributors, who will assist in transporting them to their final destination. The plan is for these bags to be distributed to 550 students in Plainfield low income elementary school, offering them a sweet surprise and a joyful moment during the holiday season. Through this collaboration, the AYLUS Morris Branch not only supported Help4All’s mission but also strengthened its own goal of empowering youth through meaningful service. The volunteers hope these holiday bags bring smiles, warmth, and excitement to the students who receive them. This project reflects the spirit of generosity and kindness that defines the holiday season, and the Morris Branch looks forward to continuing impactful service initiatives that uplift communities and spread positivity throughout the year.
