On November 23rd 2025, AYLUS Great Neck Branch volunteered at Kings Point Park to help with removing leaves from the roadway. We had many people so everyone was working hard. Even though it’s our first time doing this job, (we’ve been working on smoothing the pathway for a long time) everyone did a great job. We learned how to use shovels and other tools to remove the most leaves I can. This is important because the staff of the park has to drive the work vehicle on those pathways, and the visitors can also be slipped on the leaves.
This project has been a great experience for us to get close to nature and communicate with each other while working. It’s a wonderful way to enjoy the outdoors and contribute to the community at the same time. It also brings convenience to the beauty and safety of the park. We will continue to work hard on this project to make the paths in the park better. This is also the mission of AYLUS, to serve the community through practical projects and provide convenience, help and care to people.
