This week’s volunteering session at SUNY Old Westbury was energetic and productive as AYLUS members supported the Chinese school’s weekend program. Volunteers assisted teachers by organizing materials, helping manage student participation, and guiding younger children through their classwork. Some members also helped with setup and cleanup between classes to keep the rooms orderly and prepared for the next group.
The event ran smoothly thanks to strong teamwork and consistent focus from all participants. Overall, the session was well-coordinated, and every volunteer contributed to creating a positive and supportive learning environment.
