AYLUS Great Neck Branch volunteers at Accessible Art Program (3rd) 11/10/25

On Monday, November 10 5:30-7,  Allison Shilagani, Ting Lan Chen, Jolynn Li and Catherine Tao, volunteered at the Accessible Art Program at Great Neck House.

We usually help students with special needs learn different art crafts in this program. Today we used buttons to make fall themed mosaics, such as trees with leaves made of buttons, animals, and different fall themed things. In the end we will put all our arts together to make a beautiful collage of different arts all created with their own imagination and unique thoughts. Volunteers helped by outlining the tree on the canvas before handing it to students who would soon decorate the tree to become alive. Each lesson and week is special as students get to learn different fun projects while being creative. We listened to music while working and socialized, giving everyone a chance to share their thoughts.
