AYLUS Roslyn Provides Food to Local Families Through NOSH Delivery! Food Pantry (104th) on November 8th, 2025

On Saturday, November 8th 2025, AYLUS partnered with NOSH to fundraise food for families in need. Volunteers spent the day handing out fliers, spreading awareness, and loading the donated food onto trucks to be sent to the NOSH headquarters. The NOSH food pantry helps the community by giving families the nutritious food they need.

Volunteers started the day off at 8 am passing out fliers to shoppers and greeting the shoppers and doing whatever they could do to help. After the first few hours, volunteers started organizing the donated foods and cutting more fliers. Each shopper was thanked and wished a good day, creating a positive and community-driven atmosphere throughout the event.

Volunteers spent the majority of our time distributing flyers, setting up donations, and discussing NOSH’s community-benefiting work with the organizers and donors. The experience was truly unique because of how supportive and kind everyone was. We made the decision to purchase some food to donate ourselves while on break. Knowing that we were contributing in multiple ways felt good. The organizers were really kind and even urged us to stop for a quick snack and rest. All in all, it was a very fulfilling experience that made us realize how little deeds can have a significant impact when people band together to support one another.

Overall, this was a very nice experience to be able to help out the community and connect ourselves and be able to see how much the community cares about each other. Knowing that NOSH will be able to help more families in need with our help today. This volunteer today taught us that just by handing out flyers or lending a hand to the other volunteers, it could also make a big difference.
