On Sunday, Nov 2nd 2025 from 12:15 PM to 1:15 PM, volunteers from the AYLUS Great Neck Branch came together to support the therapeutic ice-skating program at the Andrew Stergiopoulos Ice Rink.
Each volunteer worked closely with a skater, offering guidance, encouragement, and assistance throughout the session. Their dedication helped create an environment that was both safe and enjoyable, allowing each participant to get the most out of their time on the ice. Volunteers made sure to provide constant support, helping build an atmosphere where skaters could not only build confidence but also improve their skating skills in a fun and positive setting.
The participants, along with their families, had an amazing time, and the children especially were excited to be part of the event. Everyone starts to work on the Winter Ice show and hope we will get progress every week. We would like to sincerely thank everyone who volunteered and contributed to making this event such a success. Your time and effort truly made a difference, and we look forward to more events like this in the future!
