On October 10th, 2025, the AYLUS Houston branch volunteered at a local daycare to ensure things ran smoothly, and helped the children with activities. Volunteers first started by helping the kids paint pumpkins, an activity to get them into the fall spirit, where they refilled paints when needed and helped with more complicated designs. After all the pumpkins were done, volunteers also entertained them during free time, by passing out snacks and reading books when everyone went outside to play.
With this experience, volunteers were able to collaborate and interact with kids in order to make their daycare experience better, and helped around the daycare where any help was needed. We are extremely grateful for this opportunity, as well as the daycare for giving us this opportunity, and hope to continue our efforts in helping and giving back to the community.
Volunteers (1.5 hours): Stella Zhao, Amy Li, Eason Jin, Yuexuan “Selina” Han
