We launched a unique project this week, right after Halloween. Usually, there is always a lot of waste on treats after Halloween. Parents don’t want their kids to overeat the candy they collected from trick-or-treating. They would secretly throw those treats away. Our volunteers found a perfect way to solve the problem. They decided to collect treats from the neighborhood and donate them to the soldiers.
Taige designed a poster, and all volunteers who participated in this project printed or spread the poster on social media. Then, they set up a collection station in their neighborhood. The whole collection period depends on the volunteer’s availability. Our volunteers are so happy that they can give a small gift to soldiers and prevent waste through this project.
