On Nov. 1, 2025, West Essex AYLUS members were working to introduce Quiz Bowl to younger audiences and provide them with opportunities to interact with and learn from the game. Quiz Bowl offers an environment that empowers students by encouraging curiosity, critical thinking, and rapid recall of knowledge across a wide range of subjects. Through an introductory and practice session at Aquinas Academy, members introduced the structure of the game as well as provided advice and resources for individual work. Then, students were divided into multiple divisions, playing engaging scrimmage games in a fun and supportive environment where they could develop confidence in their academic abilities and find joy in learning beyond the classroom.
