Members from San Diego Branch Volunteered at SABPA’s San Diego BioPharma Conference

SoCal Association for Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Advancements (SABPA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in early 2002 by professionals and scholars from the San Diego community.

SABPA’s 23rd San Diego BioPharma Conference was hosted on Oct,4th 2025.

This year, two high school volunteers from the AYLUS proudly participated as part of the SABPA volunteer team from 8am to 12pm.(total 4 hours)

  • Volunteers: Lauren Kan and Max Yang
  • Volunteer Roles: Registration Desk, Session Support, and Guest Assistance

  • Key Contributions:

    • Greeted and registered over 300 attendees with professionalism and enthusiasm

    • Supported speaker coordination and on-site logistics to ensure smooth transitions between sessions

    • Assisted exhibitors and attendees with directions, materials, and information throughout the event

    • Represented ALICE with courtesy, teamwork, and a spirit of service that reflected positively on our organization

Their participation not only contributed to the event’s success but also provided meaningful exposure to San Diego’s life sciences ecosystem — inspiring them to explore future opportunities in biotechnology and healthcare innovation.
