Over three weeks, volunteers assisted a small technology company in assessing its internal carbon footprint. The team collected data on server energy use, lighting, and equipment efficiency. A new data dashboard was coded to automatically calculate weekly energy consumption and identify unnecessary usage. Following implementation, the company adopted updated energy management protocols and reported a 15 percent reduction in power use.
