AYLUS Basking Ridge held a Tech Support Program at Ridge Oak Center on 10/27/25, where members taught seniors how to switch the keyboard from drawing Pinyin to typing, how to place the Notes app on the home screen instead of in the app library on their phones, and how to do the same on a laptop.
The program may help seniors feel more confident navigating technology, making it easier for them to stay connected with family and friends, manage daily tasks, and engage with digital resources independently. It also fosters intergenerational learning and strengthens the community by bridging the gap between tech-savvy volunteers and seniors seeking digital skills.
