AYLUS Great Neck Branch Tutoring at Station Library 63rd (10/23/25)

On October 23th, 2025, from 6-7pm,five high school students came to the Great Neck Plaza Library to do volunteer work. During the hour when they tutored homework, we focused on our studies. It was a very meaningful thing.

The five of us high school students had clear roles. Some of us helped the children with math, some with English, and some with Earth Science. When we saw the children’s doubts being solved one by one, we were all very happy and proud. Although sometimes we would get anxious when seeing the children still unable to answer some questions, fortunately, we were all very patient and enthusiastically helped the children complete their learning tasks. The entire process was friendly and full of passion.

When the volunteering period ended, although everyone was tired, they were also very happy. The students expressed their gratitude to the mentors, and we took a group photo. Watching the children finish their homework and leave with their parents one by one, we felt very satisfied. This hour of meaningful learning was an unforgettable memory.
