AYLUS Basking Ridge held its weekly iPad Club at Fellowship Village on 10/18/25, where members assisted seniors with a variety of technology questions. They helped participants learn how to use their iPhones, including listening to and deleting voicemails, adjusting volume, and resetting voicemail passwords. Volunteers also guided seniors on using Zoom meetings, changing website URLs, updating software, blocking certain emails, deleting unused apps, creating calendars, and even applying for a library card.
The session gave seniors the confidence to navigate their devices more independently and stay connected with family, friends, and community resources. Beyond the technical skills, it offered meaningful social interaction, encouragement, and a sense of accomplishment, helping seniors feel empowered and supported in their daily digital lives.
