On Saturday, October 18th, 2025, from 9am to 12pm, members of the AYLUS Roslyn Branch volunteered at NOSH Delivers, Which is a nonprofit food pantry that was founded during 2020 to help people in need of food.
Some people were able to donate food, so they got free food to give to others who needed help. We worked together to pack bags with food. The bags had things in there like bread, fruit, and cans of soup or vegetables. Everyone had a job to do. Some people helped others to get food from the shelf, and others worked in the farmers market to help give out fresh produce and bread. We all helped each other and worked as a team.
Helping others made us feel proud and happy. It showed us how important it was to be kind to others. We learned that when people work together, we can do great things.
