On Sunday, October 19th of 2025, from 10:30 to 1:30 pm EST, 6 members of the AYLUS Roslyn visited C.P Nassau residents at their Bayville location. C.P. Nassau has been supporting many individuals with disabilities for over 75 years and it provides various services including medical and primary care, therapy, education, etc. and it also has places like the Bayville location.
We started the day off by doing some activities with the residents of the Bayville location. One particular activity that the residents liked doing was Connect Four. Then, we moved the residents outside in order for them to enjoy the live band that came to perform. day. The residents had lots of fun listening to the live performance. We ended the day by playing jeopardy with the residents. Volunteering at CP Nassau continues to inspire us to help the residents of these locations. It allows for us to talk and connect with individuals with disabilities, offering companionship and also our support while also encouraging patience, strengthening teamwork, and kindness. We look forward to our next visit and another opportunity to bring smiles to the residents of CP Nassau!
