AYLUS Great Neck Branch Tutoring at Station Library 61st (10/16/25)

Today, October 16th, 2025, Great Neck AYLUS hosted another tutoring session at the Great Neck Library Station Branch from 6:00-7:00 PM. Today, we had more students than volunteers so the tutors needed to multitask. Junlin helped a student with earth science—such as solving problems about the lunar eclipse—and 8th grade simultaneous worded equations. Summer helped a student with the English language vocabulary problems and some basic counting and number learning with a younger student. Erika helped a student with English composition and grammar questions, but also multiplying and dividing decimals with fractions.  Brain helped a 7th grade student with finishing a beautiful social studies project and also some earth science as well. Siwoo assisted two students, one with counting squares for mathematics and the other for chemistry problems. Even with more students, today was still a productive and exciting session for all students and tutors.
