The Gainesville Branch of the Alliance of Youth Leaders in the United States (AYLUS™) is a program that cultivates leadership skills, teamwork, and community engagement in youth. Our mission is to encourage students to become involved in their community and learn invaluable skills that will assist them in their future. We accomplish our goals through active and meaningful participation in volunteer projects that benefit local and broader community.

The Gainesville AYLUS™ branch aims to unite students that are passionate about service, personal growth, education, and giving back to their community. Students will participate in tutoring and academic mentoring, educational workshops, speech and debate lectures, and environmental sustainability projects. Here, the students will learn how to collaborate, communicate, and use leadership to accomplish incredible feats.

AYLUS also provides opportunities for students to explore and grow their own individual skill sets while giving back to the community. Each member is encouraged to take initiative by leading service events and proposing new project. Thus, gaining experience in organization and project management.

Through empowering youth to assist members in their community to make a difference, the Gainesville AYLUS™ branch strives to assemble a community of young leaders who are committed to improving the world around them. Our goal is to prepare students to become responsible citizens who will continue to lead with responsibility, compassion, and efficiency.
