AYLUS Basking Ridge held Tech Support program at Ridge Oak Senior Center on 10/6/25

AYLUS Basking Ridge held a Tech Support Program at Ridge Oak Center on 10/7/25, where members spent the morning helping seniors navigate their devices. Volunteers patiently showed participants how to use WeChat, delete groups, remove old messages, and hide unwanted moments from friends without deleting them. Seniors also asked about the most reliable AI sources and explored the action and camera buttons on the new iPhone. Laughter and curiosity filled the room as questions sparked conversations, and volunteers worked side by side with each participant to ensure everyone felt comfortable.

The session gave seniors more than just technical skills—it gave them confidence and a sense of independence. Many left smiling, excited to try out what they had learned, while also feeling supported and connected through the shared experience. The morning was filled with small victories, encouragement, and meaningful interaction, leaving both seniors and volunteers with a sense of joy, accomplishment, and connection that went beyond the technology itself.
