AYLUS Great Neck Branch Tutoring at Station Library 57th (9/30/25)


On Tuesday September 30th, Aylus high school volunteers gathered from 6:00-7:00PM at Great Neck Station Library to tutor and assist younger students with their studies. During this session, Ivy Li helped a student with her earth science and astrology homework, furthering the student understanding of the topic, and helping her with her presentation. Brian Zhang helped a boy with vocabulary questions and grammar for his english class and math operations involving helping him understand mixed numbers and fractions. Summer Lu helped a 7th grader with homework and finishing missing assignments for math and history, she taught the seventh grader about U.S history. Janice Zhang and Benjamin Ko contributed with helping with homework as well. In conclusion, this tutoring session was beneficial for both the tutors and the students. The younger students learned many new ways to do their homework and the tutors enjoyed helping out as well.
