On September 28, 2025, members of the AYLUS Great Neck Branch went to Kings Point Park to participate in a volunteer activity, helping to improve the walking trails. Everyone was enthusiastic and hardworking, and together we completed the paving of an entire path in just two hours.
Our main task was to level the mulch along the trail and remove larger wood chips. This time, we also used brand-new tools to pull out tree roots that we were unable to handle before, making the paths smoother and safer. This not only made it easier for park staff to drive work vehicles but also improved the walking experience for visitors.
During the work, we not only enjoyed nature but also met many different strangers, all of whom seemed very kind. Through communication and teamwork, we gained new experiences and strengthened our connections with each other. This activity not only enhanced the beauty and safety of the park but also deepened our sense of cooperation and the meaning of serving the community.
This volunteer event fully reflects the mission of AYLUS: to serve the community through concrete actions, bringing convenience, care, and support to the people. In the future, we will continue our efforts to make the trails at Kings Point Park even better.
