On September 21, 2025, members of West Essex volunteered at the Livingston Oval from 12:30 PM to 4:30 PM for the “Livingston Police Department Community Block Party.” This event aimed to strengthen community ties between residents and law enforcement, fostering a true sense of community. The block party replaced the former National Night Out, which typically took place in August.
Local organizations and businesses came together for this family-friendly celebration, creating a vibrant atmosphere. AYLUS volunteers helped set up tables and organized activities like balloon twisting and face painting, making the day enjoyable for attendees. Participating in local events like this is a wonderful way for AYLUS members to give back and engage with the community!
