Aylus Great Neck Branch Volunteer State Park on 9/20/2025 (48th)

On September 20, AYLUS Great Neck Branch come to  Bayard Friendship Garden. The main goal of this activity is to remove invasive plants,  protect the local ecological environment, and reduce the  threat of alien species to the diversity of local plans. Through  artificial wedding, healthy structure can be restored, and the  growth space of native plants can be improved.

In this weed activity we focused on removing the following  invasive plants: Porcelain berry, Violets, and Mug wort. The  total weight is about 265 pounds. In addition, we have  pruned ferns, but because they are not invasive species, we  have only managed them moderately.

This act activity effectively controlled the spread trend of  invasive plants and played a positive role in maintaining the  logical diversity of Bayard cutting arboretum.
