On September 13th, Syosset AYLUS visited a CP Nassau home in Levittown from 1pm to 4pm to spend time with the residents and bring them a fun afternoon of activities. Volunteers began their visit by doing arts and crafts with the residents. They put together felt trees, decorated animals, and designed different works of art. Then we played games like connect four, bingo and uno where they challenged each other and gathered for a fun and lively session. The activities allowed residents to engage socially, sharpen their thinking skills, and share in the joy of friendly competition. By the end of the afternoon, everyone left with smiles on their faces and a sense of fulfillment from the shared experience.
