On September 20, 2025, AYLUS Basking Ridge hosted its weekly iPad Club at Fellowship Village, a morning full of curiosity, laughter, and learning. Our members worked closely with seniors, patiently guiding them through tasks like deleting messages in the Messages app, rearranging apps on their iPhones, organizing photos, taking screenshots, and accessing website links via QR codes.
What made the session special weren’t just the tech skills learned—it was the connections formed along the way. Volunteers celebrated every “aha” moment, offered encouragement for small successes, and shared smiles and stories with the seniors. Seniors left feeling more confident and empowered with their devices, while volunteers walked away inspired by the warmth, curiosity, and joy of the people they helped. By the end of the morning, it was clear that learning together can create meaningful bonds and moments that linger far beyond the screen.
