On September 13th, Saturday, the Great Neck AYLUS Branch volunteered at the Corona park for the Dragon Boat race on October 4th. Actually, we were practicing the skills of dragon boating. We learned how to use the paddles, how to draw neatly and orderly, and how to balance the boat. These are the important techniques for boating during the race. In today’s practice, everyone was very seriously focused, because everyone wanted to get a nice result in the competition. The couch was nice and our group members are doing well, the only problem is that we are not in the same rhythm of boating. I hope we can get better next week. Cheer up!
