On September 6th, members of the Syosset AYLUS joined the Long Island Native Plant Initiative (LINPI) to assist with their support for local environmental initiatives. Throughout the morning, volunteers moved mature plants from their small pots to larger pots for their extended growth. We prepared a new batch of soil, and watered plants outside in the garden. Volunteers also worked hard clearing weeds, and making the place presentable for next week’s garden sale.
