Event 71: Aylus Morris Branch Partners with Helping Hands for Fall Clothing Donation in September 2025

Over the past couple of weeks, members of the AYLUS Morris Branch partnered with Helping Hands to lead a fall clothing drive, dedicated to supporting families in need as cooler weather approaches. Understanding the importance of seasonal essentials like jackets, sweaters, and pants, the Morris Branch worked diligently to collect donations from local families, friends, and neighbors. Their efforts were met with tremendous generosity, resulting in the collection of 86 pieces of fall clothes.

On September 1st at 4:00 PM, the members officially completed the initiative by delivering the donations to Helping Hands’ collection site located at the local Presbyterian Church. There, the items will be organized and distributed to families who need them most, ensuring the community’s contributions reach individuals in time for the fall season.

The drive showcased the teamwork, leadership, and compassion of Morris Branch volunteers. From gathering and sorting items to coordinating logistics with Helping Hands, the members demonstrated both responsibility and dedication to their community. Their collaboration with a trusted local organization amplified the impact, guaranteeing that every donation will serve a meaningful purpose.

This initiative reflects the ongoing commitment of the AYLUS Morris Branch to service through action. By consistently partnering with Helping Hands and other nonprofits, the branch continues to create opportunities for youth members to give back, practice leadership, and strengthen community bonds. The fall clothing drive not only provided warmth through clothing but also fostered warmth of spirit, proving how much can be achieved when people come together for a common cause.
