On August 22, from 4:30-5:30pm, AYLUS Great Neck members were at Firefighter Park. This is the 41st event. We engaged with children by playing and exercising with them. Everyone had a pleasant time. Although there were no children, we encouraged other kids at the park to join us. Soon we found two children who were playing soccer. So we played soccer with them. This event taught us the importance of communication especially when faced with this special situation. It’s a great time to come out and participate with children, as well as promoting interactions amongst peers.
