The Aylus Frisco & Plano Arts in Action Group successfully completed a donation drive throughout July and August. The initiative focused on collecting essential art supplies to prepare for upcoming community outreach and fundraising events, including the “Kindness Card” and bookmark fundraiser.
A tremendous thank you goes out to the generous parents who donated various art materials. Their contributions included:
- Diverse paper stock: A variety of paper types and colors were collected, providing the necessary foundation for our future card-making activities.
- Blank bookmarks and cardstock: These specific donations are crucial for the planned bookmark and Kindness Card fundraiser, allowing volunteers to begin decorating and designing them immediately.
These donated items are instrumental in enabling the group to move forward with its creative projects. This successful donation drive has laid the groundwork for future events and will directly support the group’s mission of using art to promote kindness and community engagement.
